The Lawo V_pro8 provides a feature that can be very handy in an OB Van or fixed installation where you need to measure the delay between a video signal and its accompanying audio signal. The V__pro8 is capable of generating its own lip-sync test pattern and measure the exact delay between the video and the audio signals. Besides its own test pattern, the V__pro8 can also work with the EBU test pattern.
With Lawo’s V__pro8 video processor, it’s easy to load and save settings. You can do this with a PC connected, or even with a USB stick in order to use your settings from one V__pro8 on another unit, for example in another OB van.
With the optional frontpanel for Lawo’s V__pro8, it is possible to control all the settings of Lawo’s video processor without having a PC connected. Additionally, you can use an external usb stick to load and save settings, and you can preview video and audio of all inputs and outputs.
Let Lawo’s video specialist Geert Heirbaut show you in detail how you can control the parameters with the Lawo__fp1.
